If you want people to believe you are an "expert", maybe do not also describe yourself as an "aficado" and a "connesueir" in the same paragraph in your self-promoting social media bio.
If you are a woman posing as a sex expert, this goes double, because half the people who read the bio won't respect you even if your spelling and grammar are impeccable.

18th January 2010 at 12:52 pm | permalink |Perhaps we can just see the knowledge and will to use a spell-checker as a readily handy intelligence test… I don't speak of the occasional typo, here, which (almost) everyone makes, but the sort of thing we find on the 'net that says so much about who the "writer" is, and what he or she is about.

There needs to be a corresponding blog coming at many of the same issues, and written by someone of the other gender… a site/blog with "dick" in its name, and probably "asshole", too.
