And another smashing success for the 2008 elections! After much hand-counting, Alaska Senator Ted "The Internet Is A Series Of Tubes" Stevens is history! Democrat Mark Begich is leading the race by more votes than remain to be counted. Too bad, so sad, Uncle Ted. May the Intertubes remain forever after unclogged!
The best part about this is that it eliminates another path to relevance for Sarah Palin. The world can't handle that much stupid in Washington.

It reminds of that time when Marion Barry (onetime Mayor of DC)was caught on video smoking crack in a hotel room. He served six months in jail, and then was re-elect mayor 5 years later.
I noticed the same problem as grimbles.

The last couple of posts aren't on the main page. Not to mention, the formatting is all fucked up. Things overlap (words over/under graphics, etc.). It's been like that ever since alphabitch changed servers (probably the wrong term but you know what I mean) several months ago. Then again, MSNBC does the same shit, so at least you're in "good" company.

20th November 2008 at 12:02 am | permalink |This post is showing in the sidebar on the front page … right at the top of the left-most sidebar, under "random sh*t" … I set up an "asides" plugin that sticks little short posts like this over in the sidebar, instead of in the 'regular' flow of articles.
Oh, and the formatting thing? It overlaps if your browser window is too narrow, because there's no way for the main content area to collapse down further than the width of the widest graphic in any of the front-page posts.
