… I promise. Because really, I couldn't give a flying fuck about celebrity gossip. My general opinion of Paris Hilton is that she's annoying and I wish people would stop giving her media attention. That said, I thought this little tidbit deserved a post, and a heart-felt call to action.
Paris is apparently involved in an MTV contest to choose a new "best friend" for herself. This is, naturally, a ridiculous-the-point-of-idiocy publicity stunt … but what else can one expect from her? So, given that she's set herself up for this, I think everyone needs to go vote for Big Jim. You don't have to enter an email or any other traceable information … just click the "VOTE" button above his photo, and fill out the text verification code.
C'mon. It'll only take a moment … :-) (And I think you can vote once a day … hee!)
OK … so I try to edit my template so trackbacks are displayed below the comment form … and somehow changed it so the comment form doesn't display if there are no comments?!

In my early 50's and I can't really follow, or is that, can't really believe what that site is all about….are there really a bunch of kids who want to be that FckingCnt's best friend? I am enjoying and largely agreeing with your "right on" Social Commentary (oh shit, even old guys are agreeing with me, he must be bald with a white ponytail….not!).
I couldn't give a shit about this media hound…tired of hearing the name.
