Take a fucking hike already, Hillary

Hillary Clinton is a short-sighted, selfish, ruthless cunt. Seriously. At this point in the race, she has proven her complete inability to close the gap on Obama's slim delegate lead, and while McCain runs around pumping himself up and looking like a good guy because he's got nobody to throw mud at for the moment, she's doing her damndest to keep the Democratic race in the trenches, so nobody comes out clean.

She may as well be fucking campaigning for McCain first-hand.

Really, I think she's gone fucking delusional. Not only is she behind in pledged delegates AND superdelegates while Obama closes the small remaining gap in superdelegates (as of May 11, Obama is leading in superdelegates), her own superdelegates are actually defecting to Obama; and she can't pull off a landslide primary victory to save her sorry fucking life. Add that to the fact that Obama's campaign is still raising money to beat all hell, while she's loaning her own campaign millions of her personal money to keep her broke ass in the race. Even if she succeeded in getting Michigan and Florida's delegates counted, it would still be down to the superdelegates to decide the nominee … and that's all given that she has huge connections with the party old guard, thanks to her hubby. With all her connections and years in the public eye, the simple fact is that Hillary can't do any better than chase the underdog's heels.

I think it's rather telling that the solid Hillary camp is primarily the older, blue-collar demographic. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and as my sister pondered, while watching the Pennsylvania primary results come in, "blue-collar" is starting to sound a lot like a euphemism for "racist" (a theory agreed on by a long-time Pennsylvania resident watching the results with us). We're talking about the type of people her staffers thought might not appreciate a photo of Obama's Kenyan step-grandmother holding a chicken, or a photo of Obama obligingly trying on some traditional garb given to him by elders in a Kenyan village he visited years ago. If Hillary wasn't courting the Islamo-phobic and racist vote, why release either photo?

Ignorant fucks across the country are already flipping out about Obama's middle name, and how his last name sounds like Osama … and Hillary feels the need to fan the flames of reactionary bigotry, because she apparently can't win the race by campaigning on her own merits. The only difference between closet-racist Democrats and openly racist right-wingers is that the elder Dem contingent has too much white guilt to stick something like this on their cars:

Ignorant Xenophobes Against Obama

Not only is Hillary perfectly happy to take advantage of humanity's lowest, xenophobic tendencies, for her own political gain, she's also perfectly happy to lie her pathetic ass off trying to give some weight to her claims of having more relevant "experience" for the job. How about that Bosnian sniper fire, Hillie-babe? What the fuck was that? I hate to break it to you, but even if you had been shot at in eastern Europe, that still wouldn't mean you had shit for foreign policy experience. As it is, not only do you still have shit for foreign policy experience, but you've shown when it looks like you might not get your way, you're as brazenly dishonest and willing to throw principle to the wind as BushCo has been. You didn't fucking "remember it differently" Hillary, you're a lying cunt.

Now personally I think it's a bit sad, and doesn't say much for US society as a whole, that most of the Western world (and even fucking PAKISTAN for god's sake!) has had a female leader except us. But I don't think our first female leader needs to be a cutthroat cunt who brings life to the awful stereotype of the bloodless, career-obsessed "feminist" bitch. Rather than admit she simply can't beat Obama (even with connections and advantages no other Democrat came close to), and gracefully bowing out so the Democratic party as a whole has time to band together, pick up the pieces, and concentrate on winning the election, Hillary is going to drag it out to the bloody end, effectively making Obama run his campaign against McCain while simultaneously trying to scrape Hillary off his shoe.

You'd think that a Republican having to campaign in the shadow of BushCo's disastrous legacy would be enough to guarantee a Democratic win this time around, but Hillary is doing her damndest to make sure Obama is handicapped enough to give McCain a fair race. Is she really as stupidly, selfishly, short-sighted as she seems? Or could she actually be megalomaniacally evil enough to try and set up an Obama loss to McCain?

Knowing she can't win the nomination, perhaps she's intentionally trying to sabotage the Democrats' chances, ensuring another four years of Republican ruination for the US. Just think of the campaign angle: "If you'd voted for me last time, we wouldn't be in this mess! Vote Hillary in 2012!"

    I apologize if you get two posts from me, but my fucking wifi connection decided to crap out as I was posting my other one.

    For the longest time, I could never understand why so many people I knew LOATHED Hillary Clinton. I’m a New Yorker and I voted for her both times she ran for Congress. I read her book, loved Bill and donated to her Congressional campaign. And now, four or so months into this primary season, I can honestly say that I don’t think I could in good conscience vote for her. At first, it was just that I liked Obama better. I liked his message, his style, his story and am aligned with most of his positions. I didn’t dislike Hillary. That has changed. Somewhere during this campaign, it stopped being about the people and started being about her ego. Yeah, I know all politicians have egos… it goes with the territory. But hers goes beyond what is expected. She’s willing to break any rule, say anything, throw out all the tricks from the Karl Rove handbook… whatever it takes.

    I agree with you, alphabitch. She needs to check her ego and do what is best for the party and the country – NOT what is best for her. What does it say about her campaign that she has to keep lending herself money? Maybe all those big money Dems who owed her and Bill for services rendered aren’t so quick to pony up these days. Why can’t she get the grassroots support that Obama does? Maybe because those “working class” red state Dems that always vote for her would much prefer John McCain to her in November. It just pisses me off to no end that she is willing to sacrifice the general election and future of the Democratic Party just to satisfy her ego. What ever happened to the “It Takes a Village” Hillary?

    Yuck… I’m just so disgusted with all of it. Sometimes I think we get what we deserve. The majority of the people in this country are intellectually lazy, selfish cunts. They are more interested in watching American Fucking Idol than educating themselves about what a candidate stands for. And… for the record… even Hillary has stated that she and Obama’s positions aren’t all that different. Yet she’s still willing to fuck it all up and sink us down to new levels of cuntishness by saying she will use the nuclear option (nukeUlar?) to get the FL and MI delegates seated. Sorry, folks, but your party leaders decided they didn’t want to follow the rules and they fucked you. Take it out on them if you want, but unless they are going to have do-overs, it’s not fair to validate those election results (you know if the results swung against her, she’s be squawking at the top of her lungs to play by the rules).

    Anyhow, my whole point was that I agree and, as always, I enjoyed your commentary.

    Right on, alphabitch. After these last couple of months, "selfish" and "power-hungry" are the now the words that to mind when I think of Hillary Clinton. Maybe also "ego-maniac." Too bad for her. I used to be neutral to mildly positive about her.

    I think you're right about 2012, btw. She certainly seems to be operating under the impression that she is owed the presidency and will go to any lengths to get it. (Owed by whom? Not sure? Bill?) If McCain weren't so hawkish and vehemently anti-choice, I might actually consider a vote for him over Clinton (if it ever came to that, which is looking less likely for this year, thank goodness).

    Funny you mentioned Pakistan, didn't Barry say he would INVADE pakistan? I hope this never ends because I have this perversion about liking to see fat old cunts wearing beige pantsuits.

    Seriously, watching this wacky primary from the third world, it seems obvious to me that the Republicans will not have to play on the fact that Barack has the same name as the dead cunt from Irak, and that his last name does sound alot like the alive cunt hiding in a cave in Pakistan. The candidate himself will hand the leftists a bigger defeat since they nominated McGovern. I am sure he is unelectable. The Democrats are in a hysterical, over-reaction mode. The Hillary campaign has done enough damage by truthfully pointing out that Obama is an elite, ultra-liberal who is under the surface, woefully out of touch with average NorteAmericanos. Believe me, Hillary is not a more attractive candidate, but surely she would do better against Juan McCain in the general election! Here in Peru, we shudder at the thought of EITHER of these 2 Socialists getting into the Casa Blanca. They both derided a free trade pact with us. This may make good politics with the gun-loving, religion clinging, bitter crowd in the Rust Belt, but,,we just want to send you some mangos and asparagus, and in turn, buy your Colgate, Kotex, Coca-cola and Marlboros! (Please forgive my primative English)

    Wow, if the Democrats fuck this up again, I don't know what I'm going to do. Emigrate to Venus, possibly.

    Maybe McCain will die of natural causes before election day, and the Republicans have to go with one of the religious crackpots…

  6. Russ said:

    Is Obama really ahead in superdelegates? I thought he was and got into an argument with a friend the other day that ended when he showed me CNN.com's politics page, which has Hillary (as of now) 10 superdelegates ahead of Obama. Do you have new and updated information, or a different source that says differently? I only ask because I still want to win the argument ;)

    Lets see, more on topic… you're right on as usual. Hillary is a cunt muffin who is not going to get the nomination barring some miracle of cuntitude on her part (such as actually getting the Michigan and Florida delegates counted.)

    On a different note, in response to pedro, why in the HELL do people keep calling Obama "elite," and even if he is (whatever that means), why is that a bad thing?
    I would also take strong exception to the assertion that Hillary has a better chance of beating McCain. I think Obama has a far better chance. I think you need only look at the number of republicans who are switching their registration so they can vote in democratic primaries for Hillary to see that they think McCain has a better chance of beating Hillary. This is something the republicans and I can agree on. Not only that, but I think there's nothing like a Clinton in the race to polarize and motivate conservatives against the democrats.

  7. Barry said:

    Pedro, Thanks for all the lies. I tried to add them up but I must be too busy being an ultra-liberal and elitist to count that high. I'm sure that voters who are as proud of their ignorance as you are will be fully convinced by your 'arguments'.

  8. pedro said:

    In response to Russ responding to me… I don't know why others call Obama elite,,I called him elite because of his statements, covertly reported from that elite speech he made to elite donors in elite San Francisco… and I think the Republicans are crossing over to vote for Mrs. Clinton because Rush Limbaugh is conducting that "Operation Chaos" thing. He wants the party to tear itself apart even more than it already has. I did not exactly say it is a bad thing to be elite…,,I DID however say that because he is "elite" he is out of touch with the average voter,,whom he called bitter. I do agree that the Clintons are both very polarizing.. but,,"America" never had to confront a choice as drastic as they will with Obama and McCain. I live here in my tropical desert paradise, and the reason I am so interested in your election is because whatever happens in your country directly affects what happens here. We have seen the destructive effects of socialism on society, and if either Barack or Hillary is elected..YOU Norte Americanos will too,, we are praying this does NOT happen. The world has enough Socialist fanatics,,,we don't need the United States to join Venezuela and Boliva.

    Right on alphabitch! If you look up fucking cunt in the dictionary, at least one definition will have a picture of Hillary by it. Sweet fucking Jesus! That cunt is as destructive to the Democrats as Bush has been to the U.S. of A! Let's just put things in perspective - she campaigned for Barry Goldwater and was a Young Republican (read: Hitler Youth). Her hubby, while generally not a horrible president, did outsource many of our jobs and industries with the help of Newt Gingrich and the rest of the fascists in congress. I guess his only redeeming value was that the budget was kind of balanced for a couple years. Will someone PLEASE euthanize Hillary?

  10. Russ said:

    Thanks for your response, Pedro. I admit I'm still not sure what you're talking about when you use the word "elite." What was "elite" (or "elitist") about his statements, what is "elitist" about his speech, the donors, or San Francisco? Do you mean he, his donors and/or San Franciscans have a lot of money? Have you checked recently between McCain, Clinton and Obama who is the richest? I'll give you a hint, it's not the one you're accusing of being "elite."

    You (and plenty of people in the media) have accused Obama of being "out of touch". I disagree completely. I think one of the things I like best about him, what has sold me on him as a candidate, is how realistic and down-to-earth he is. Needless to say I think the whole "bittergate" thing has been blown way out of proportion, but as a pretty average (if strongly left-leaning) American, I think that statement in fact makes me more likely to vote for him, not less.

    ""America" never had to confront a choice as drastic as they will with Obama and McCain"
    Bull. People said the same thing last election. And the one before that. Every election is the most important one ever. I'm sick of hearing that.

    There have been all kinds of polls and surveys that have tried to determine which of Clinton or Obama is more likely to be able to beat McCain. They could be accurate, they could be bogus, but I think they generally show Obama has a better shot.
    Here's a completely unbiased source (yes, I am being facetious) that supports my statement: http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/stateupdates/gGgM27
    Of course maybe this doesn't matter to you because based on your most recent comment it sounds like you support McCain.
    I don't question at all your interest in our election.

    I don't know what your hangup on "socialism" is. Most of the industrialized world is more "socialist" than the United States (look at health care for only one example.)

    pedro, the one with the most money? Just a guess.

    We could go back and forth until my keyboard wears out about the merits of state-sponsored health care, but I'm not going to do that. Suffice it to say that although your personal experience is impressive in terms of number of emergency room trips (I don't think I've been to the emergency room in the States as many times as the number of different countries you've apparently been there in), is not enough to prove anything. Further, making health care better by excluding 47 million people from getting it is not acceptable.

    Yeah, I don't know exactly when being an ignorant bumpkin became a qualification for the presidency, but I remember how baffled I was when calling Kerry an "Ivory Tower Intellectual" was actually an effective slur during the Kerry v. Bush campaign.

    It seems to me we should WANT someone in the White House who is educated and informed enough to understand the complexities of international relations and domestic economics, shouldn't we? I mean, running a country is a wee little bit more complicated than managing the local gas station, after all.

    @pedro: If you have the money to afford good treatment, US medical care is outstanding. On the other hand, if you don't, you're screwed. I know in the UK, if you have the money, you can opt to buy private insurance, and go to private hospitals and doctors. But if you're not wealthy, you can still go to a hospital and get quality treatment.

    One of my exes tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee once. We did not have a lot of money, and he did not have insurance. The emergency room gave him a cheap knee brace, some anti-inflammatories, and some pain killers, and sent him home. His knee has never been the same since then. When a player on the local University football team suffered the same injury, the same hospital rushed him into surgery to repair the ligament. He returned to playing football the following season, apparently none the worse for wear.

    Watch the movie "Sicko" sometime. I don't really like Michael Moore's style, but that movie does a very good job of succinctly explaining what's wrong with the US healthcare system … or non-system as the case may be.

    "… it is a bit ironic that in a blog with such an obscene implied name… the level of discourse is so very intellectual. Thank you very much! I'm really happy with the quality of regular commenters the site's managed to attract too. :-)

    Love your work. I read various online opinions and yours just seem plain accurate.

    So now is the time to close down the porn, wipe off the keyboard and try and add some kind of intellectual bollocks.

    My wife and I are divided. She is still planning to vote for HillBill and I would vote for Obama. I say would, because I am not a citizen. I live and work here, pay taxes and crap, but don't get to choose the next douche-in-charge. Of course, I could get off my fat ass and get that citizen application in and do something (but do I really want to give up my rights so easily…another story). Maybe I'll just work on persuading my better half to change her vote.

    I'm not really what you would call a democrat or republican. Back in the UK I had liked Maggie Thatcher (right-wing), but fucking John Major…jesus. So Blair (left-wing, but sliding to center) got my next vote. All started well…and er, well, you know what happened there. Now they have Gordon Brown, who is a twat, and the jerk leading the conservatives is a nob, so they're fucked.whatever. Of course they don't compare to the double-act of Bush and Cheney (slightly right of Attila-the-Hun).

    My point is, sometimes the party doesn't matter as much as the candidates themselves. And from what I see on the world news here (world news, fuck me, ha, ha, ha!) Obama has some fresh ideals that might actually get the country out of the pit of shit it's in. McCain, being of good gene stock and not likely to have a heart attack before November (you seem his mother?…shit…95-something? fuck, what does she take?), is just Bush in McClothing (or is that a cunt in some clothes?). It will be another 4 years of the same. By the way, you have no idea how much the rest of the world put their head in their hands and muttered "fucking morons" when Bush was re-elected last time. Anyway, I would say I will re-emigrate McBush gets in, but I can't afford it, because of the fucked up economy and now the sterling I converted to dollars a few years ago is worth fuck all.

    Go Obama!…woo!…yeah! (trying to act all American for that citizen test)

    And that comment about "..clinging to guns and religion…". What the fuck?….you do know it's true, right? He was just the only one with the balls enough to say it.

    Of course, HillBill will go on till the last bit of dignity and hope is screwed out of the democrats, and McCain gets an easy ride for the next couple of months. The roller-coaster ride continues.

    Hillary Clinton isn't an anagram of "Only I can thrill" for nothing…

    Outside the US, we see Hillary as a great hope that the US has finally caught up with the rest of the western world in being able to accept a female head of state.

    After all Golda Meir in the sixties in Israel, Indira Gandhi in the seventies and Margaret Thathcher in the eighties showed that it could be done.

    Now you've done with patting yourselves on the back - we see Barack Obama as the great hope that the US could once again lead the western world in electing a president from a racial minority - and that you are not racist xenophobes of the highest order, who will continue to follow the policies of the Bush administrations past and present.

    No Western democracy has yet elected a member of a racial minority as their leader - it would be really great to see the US do so. As the self proclaimed home of freedon and democracy - Barack Obama in the White House would do your country no end of good across the globe.

  18. Ian said:

    P.S. Set the background colour on your site to white - please.

  19. Russ said:

    @Ian:
    The stylesheet for this page says:
    body {
    font-family: Times New Roman, Times, serif;
    font-size: 0.9em;
    margin: 0px;
    padding: 0px;
    color: #000000;
    }

    Looks white to me.

    Also, I hope people can look past the fact that Hillary is a woman and see the festering cunt that lies within. I agree that a female president would be great - if only she was also a decent candidate. Ideally of course gender and race should be non-issues. I look forward to the day.

  20. alphabitch said:

    @charlie: "And that comment about "..clinging to guns and religion…". What the fuck?….you do know it's true, right? He was just the only one with the balls enough to say it." Yeah, he's the only one with the balls to say a few true things. That was one of 'em. His much maligned comment about his grandmother being a "typical white person" and therefore somewhat racist is also true in this country.

    But if there's one thing the American public really hates, it's people who actually call it like it is. (Hell, look how many comments on this site suggest I ought to leave the country! lol)

    @Ian: Background changed. But as for Hillary, how does it make the US better for electing a woman, if the woman is a horrible cunt? I mean, I can't help but think the UK would have been better off without Maggie … ;-)

    However, I still stand by my long-standing prediction that the first black president in this country will be assassinated. Let's just hope he picks a good VP, if he does manage to win.

    @Russ: "color: #000000;" sets the text to black. The background-color property was entirely missing. Since most normal people have their browser on the default "white background" setting, nobody noticed (including me, hehe). However, I'd never accuse Ian of being normal … his is set to neon green or something. Just to flush out lazy web designers like me. ;-)

    And yes, I'd be happy to vote for a woman, if I felt she was a good candidate. In Hill's case though, I'd much rather pass.

  21. Ian said:

    All would be well if that body declaration said background-color: #FFFFFF;
    on the other hand my default background colour is lime green - so until a few minutes ago this site had a lime green background.

    I also agree that ideally race and gender should not be issues in any election campaign, but… until then…

    As to the quality of the candidates it is difficult for me to tell as I don't get the level of coverage that US residents get.

    @Russ: Re. superdelegate count: I could swear yesterday the CNN delegate count page showed Obama with 10 more superdelegates than Hillary, but right now it's showing 266 for Hillary and 258 for Obama, so I must have read it wrong (265/255 as I recall).

    So, he's not leading superdelegates, but he does appear to be catching up.

  24. alphabitch said:

    And then the NYTimes superdelegate poll gives Obama 258 to Hill's 263 (even better looking) … but the AP numbers say 256-Obama 271-Hillary.

    I think this has been one of the most interesting US primaries for years Obama vs Clinton is a real choice.

    A woman - whose political establishment credentials are well known against a coloured guy with no political pedigree.

    Does Hillary's background make her an ideal candidate as she knows the ins and outs of the system - or does it make her a cynical manipulative bitch.

    I just came back from dinner with a friend of mine who is in her mid-fifties and who (along with her husband) was previously a lifelong Republican. She knew I had hopped on the Obama bandwagon some time ago and was pleased to tell me that she'd finally decided (after some Meet the Press interview last week) that she was going to vote for him. Add her to my 70 year old aunt and uncle as a convert (also lifelong Republicans… and pretty much those bitter, blue collar racists that still exist all across this great land of ours). Can I tell you how shocked I was when they told me that they watched their first debate EVER this year and have liked Obama since they saw him on TV before he announced his candidacy??? They are actually going to vote for him. This is the same uncle who has been dropping the N-bomb since I was in diapers! Holy fuck!

    Now, if I introduced "Barry" as my boyfriend, I'm sure his reception would be slightly more chilly. Baby steps…

    Equally as telling… my uncle called Hillary a cunt within about two minutes of the conversation. Gee… I don't know where I get my foul mouth.

    How does that election thing work again? The person with the most votes wins right?
    I guess you could I say follow George Carlon's philosophy when it comes to politics.

    I was riding on a long trip with my parents, and they were listening to Rush Limbaugh (don't even ask). Anyway, he has this thing that all of his minions have been doing called Operation Chaos. They have all been switching their party affiliations to Dem and voting for Hillary in the primaries to keep her in the race. They believe that she cannot win against McCain but Obama can. They want her to have the nomination so that McCain can win the election. No freaking joke. I have read a million articles, but no one ever mentions this. Operation Chaos evidently started when everyone was calling for Hillary to drop out of the race, and is credited widely in GOP circles as putting her back in the running for the nomination. If you look at Lush Rimjob's website you can get all of the details.

    @Victoria: I wasn't her biggest fan, but I didn't realize what a ruthless cunt she was until partway through the race … and what amazes me is that so many of her supporters are so obsessed with the fact that she's a woman, they don't even notice.

    Personally, I think if she got into the White House, she'd cripple the progress of women in politics for decades.

    @Fifi: Yeah, I'd heard about that too … not sure how much of the vote that's responsible for, but even WITH Limbaugh's "help", and borrowing $20 million + from herself, she can't seem to pull ahead.

    Just fucking wonderful.

    First the AP wire releases a story today that says Clinton is going to suspend her campaign, finally acknowledging that Obama has the necessary delegates for the Democratic nomination.

    Then Clinton campaign spokesman, Terry McAuliffe, denies the AP story as "100 percent incorrect" and asserts that Clinton has no intention of ending or suspending her campaing.

    Fuck.

    It seems like everyone EXCEPT Clinton and her juvenile, whiny supporters recognize that Obama will be the nominee. "Never admit defeat." You fucking idiots–the campaign is over and you're about the only ones who will not acknowledge it.

    She's calling for a press conference tonight. We'll see what she says then, but I'm not holding my breath for any sanity to issue forth from that quarter.

    @Becca: She's fucking deranged. That's the only possible explanation. She's like the political version of the Enron execs who really thought they could just make up their own rules, and have everything work out in their favor.

    If I hear one more person float her name as a running mate, I'm going to puke up my pizza. The MSM talking heads are jizzing all over themselves tonight; it's almost embarrassing to watch. They're tossing around the word "historic" like a volleyball.

    BTW, what happened to "an historic…?" Very few bobble heads are using that form. Not that I'm a linguistic purist, but I always thought that was kind of quaint.

    Let's be realistic about this everyone. Nine times out of ten if you're black you're going to vote for Barack Obama. But where does that put the country. Nowhere except right in the depths of hell with that fucking cuntmuffin McCain. Because everyone knows that unless African-Americans get off their lazy asses and vote, we're stuck with McCain. And even if we do we're still fucked because we're such a small percent of the population 14% to be exact and declining from killing off an already suffering species with black on black crime it wouldn't make a difference any fucking how. Barack has the supporters he needs already if those white ppl continue to support him at all of his public appearances who knows what may happen. Notice how just recently African Americans started making an appearance at his speeches? I love my people but as a race we're fucked up cuntmuffinsitonourlazyasssluts. We have crab in a barrel syndrome and nothing can cure this infection. And if Barack does win, he'll catch slack from the black community if he doesnt give us every little request, command, and demand that we bitch at him. The black community is just fucked up like that. I know for sure that I'm voting for him though, mabey he can make my people see life through a differnt pair of lenses. Mabey he can promote all this "change" we hear so much about. Mabey having him in office will tear down the walls of segregation. Because "white america" refuses to admit that it still exists. Every race has this fucked up prejudice perception of the other one. And until we tear down those misguiding accusations. Why does it matter if our next president is black, white, black and white, blue or purple? If his intentions are just as good for a black family as they are for a hipanic, white or polish family equally, then not only does he deserve your vote he deserves your respect! And the right to bring about "CHANGE". Beacause if you want my opinion and even if you dont I think we're all a little fucked up!
    And we dont need Hilary's old crying, menopausal, girl power, i just have to feed my ego as much cunt as possible looking ass in the White House. That dried-up cuntlicking hoe didnt think a black man was any competition. Ha,Haaa…………..Think again bitch!Barack is going to run and Barack is going to win!

    @smartypants: I really loved it when I heard that Hillary's zombie army is talking about trying to pull some kind of VP coup at the convention, to *force* her onto Obama's ticket … even now that she's given up, her ovaries-trump-everything fanclub is still refusing to roll over.

    @Shewhoseeksknowledge: Personally, I am fucking thrilled he's clinched the nomination. I am thrilled—whether it's left-wing openmindedness or white liberal racist guilt at work (and I'm inclined to think the latter)—that someone who has enough balls to talk about the low-level bigotry of an "average white person," or the reactionary 'guns, god and xenophobia' culture of rural, lower-class America, is actually lined up to take a real shot at the White House.

    I do not remember a single political candidate in my entire life who actually had the balls to even *consider* saying anything like the things Obama has been blasted by the right for saying. I do not remember anyone in my lifetime coming close to the final presidential race who actually called it like it is, without pandering, pussy-footing, or flat-out lying to the American public. Hillary grabs the "older, white, blue-collar" vote, not only because she shamelessly sucked up to them, and told them all how wonderful and special they are, but because a hell of a lot of those folks are just not going to vote for a black guy … Obama gets the "young, educated" vote, on the other hand, because he's not pandering to mass stupidity or bigotry.

    Black, white, purple or polka-dotted; male, female, crossdresser or transsexual … anyone who calls out the fact that the average white American is a bit of a bigot gets huge respect from me.

    Just found this site: No Quarter Blog

    This is just insane shit. It reminds me of Freepers and 9/11 conspiracy theorists, all mixed together.
